He sent messengers before him to prepare for him in a Samaritan village they were entering
But the people there would not receive him because he was going to Jerusalem. Seeing this the disciples James and John said "Lord allow us to call down fire from heaven to destroy them for this." But turning he rebuked them.

Leave the dead to bury the dead. Rather you should go and announce the kingdom of God.
