7. Standing by the cross of Jesus was his mother and her sister, Mary the wife of Clopas and also Mary the Magdalene. Jesus saw his mother and the disciple he loved standing by and he says to his mother 19:25-26 8. Then he says to the disciple: And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home. After this Jesus knew that everything had now been completed. (But) so that Scripture might be fulfilled he said "I thirst". There was a vessel there full of vinegar. They therefore filled a sponge and putting it round (a stick) they brought it up to his mouth. Therefore when Jesus had taken the vinegar he said “It has been finished” and bowing down his head he delivered up his spirit. 19:27 -30
